The biggest event in young Jewish person’s life is their Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Many months of study, preparation, and hard work culminate into a beautiful and sacred ceremony. The party to celebrate this momentous occasion with family and friends calls for great entertainment. It has been a great pleasure and privilege for The Quake to play for so many birthday and anniversary celebrations, and these are the celebrations that are among our favorites to perform. Fundraising galas can be challenging. Luckily, The Quake has performed numerous charity events. We will meet to establish your goals and vision. We know there are many possible components to a charity gala; therefore, we are mindful of timeliness and timelines to ensure you accomplish your goals.
Corporate parties require a special touch… an eye and an ear, as well. Every crowd is different and every company has individual goals for its event. It can be a challenge to get your co-workers to drop their inhibitions and get out on the dance floor. The Quake knows from experience not only how to make it happen, but also how to make it fun! We can watch and read your crowd to understand where we need to go next. Plus, we will interact with all of the planners of the events — from your in-house staff to your caterer — to develop the right timeline and create the right mood to make your corporate event a big success.
Band Leader and Point of Contact
You won’t plan your event with a sales person, manager, or some non-musician who will not be available to you during your event. Carl Smith, a Philadelphia native, La Salle University graduate, and bandleader of The Quake is your single point of contact throughout all of the planning stages of your event. He is always present and performs with the band at every single event, ensuring that all your expectations are met. He is also willing to act as the point of contact with your other vendors prior to and during the event. Your satisfaction is our main goal and we know that entertainment plays an essential role in your party’s success.
